SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1: PREPARATION

Gather all of your ironing into a basket or bag, letting us know if you have any specific requirement for your items (to be hung, folded, delicate items, etc.).

STEP 2: BOOKING

Call us to let us know you have a collection ready.

If you are looking to use our service regularly – weekly, fortnightly or even monthly, we will have you in our system for a regular pick up and a booking will not be required.

STEP 3: COLLECTION

One of our friendly, reliable driving team will arrive at the requested time for collection.

Our vans are on the road 5 days of the week, allowing us to offer 24 hour turnaround with your ironing job.

STEP 4: IRONING

One of our professional ironers will examine your items, ensuring specific instructions are adhered to. Your ironing will be completed in a clean, smoke-free environment and will be completed hung or folded, as requested.

STEP 5: QUALITY CHECK

All completed jobs are checked before being returned to you. If you are not satisfied with the quality we will re-do the ironing until your requirements are met.

We always aim to deliver to the highest of expectations.

STEP 6: RETURN

We carefully package your ironing and one of our driving team will return your ironing to you at the pre-arranged time, within 24 hours.

Included with your returned items will be your account for settlement.

Our price list is shown below, to give you a clear understanding of our costs – nothing is hidden. We have a minimum basket charge of $45, including pick up & delivery.

Extra charges may apply for frills, satin, linen, coats, suits and other items of clothing requiring special attention.

Our Promise

We offer our clients a pick up and deliver service within 24 hours anywhere within the St George and Sutherland Shire area

All quality of work is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with the standard presented, we will re-do the work at no additional charge.

As well as an ironing service, washing/laundry, dry cleaning and alteration services are available on request.

We have specific days for pick up and delivery throughout our areas of operation, all of which are detailed below. If these days do not suit your requirement please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss alternate options that suit your needs.

MONDAY / TUESDAY:

ST GEORGE AREA: Blakehurst, Kyle Bay, Sans Souci, Ramsgate, Monterey and surrounding suburbs.

SUTHERLAND SHIRE: Caringbah, Lilli Pilli, Miranda, Grays Point, Gymea, Gymea Bay, Kirrawee, Kareela, Oyster Bay, Sutherland, Como, Bonnet Bay, Menai, Loftus, Yarrawarra, Engadine.

WEDNESDAY

SUTHERLAND SHIRE: Bonnet Bay, Como, Sylvania, Sylvania Waters, Kangaroo Point, Menai, Alfords Point, Illawong, Barden Ridge.

THURSDAY:

SUTHERLAND SHIRE: Miranda, Caringbah, Cronulla, Greenhills, Sylvania Waters.

FRIDAY:

By appointment only.

IF YOUR SUBURB IS NOT MENTIONED PLEASE CALL TO ARRANGE A SPECIFIC ARRANGEMENT.

Hours of operation include pick up and delivery between 8am and 6pm. If these operational hours do not suit your household please get in contact as we’d be happy to discuss your circumstance and look to create suitable arrangements.

When working with us at Sutherland Shire Ironing you can choose to become a weekly, fortnightly or casual client

We are happy to work to your requirements and understand that some households may need a regular service, whilst other times may only need a hand when the ironing pile gets too large and family life is not allowing you to get back on top of it. We would be happy to help in either instance!

A successful and thriving business, Fiorella, the business creator and director continues to be active in the day-to-day servicing of the business, and it is her experience and expertise that allows Sutherland Shire Ironing to continue to offer exceptional quality ironing services to local families and companies.

We have a team of over 30 people, and only employ the very best ironers

Nobody joins the SSI team without vigorous training to ensure each and every employee achieves the highest of standards required for all of our clients.
